Every mortgage situation is different, and when every bank you speak to gives you the same feedback, it can be really discouraging. I believe that Grant also went back to my lawyer once to obtain copies of documents that I did not have on hand, saving me the trouble of digging them out of storage.

Grant was wonderful at helping us understand the mortgage process - rather than just being passive participants as we had been in our previous mortgage. The fact that Randy and I live in the middle of nowhere Grant was able to do everything through fax and computer without us having to go to Toronto. I think that this is one of the most important aspects when you live in a small community your resources are not as great as you would like. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs to remortgage or need a new one. He was also able to get us an extremely low rate just before they started to rise again. My most important factor was the rate of interest. My wife and I were able to receive a very low rate and we are very happy with it. It will enable us to do the renovations that we needed to do on our home.
